Rooted is our student group at Good Shepherd. We merge Biblical teachings with a community of students who are passionate about seeking the truth. We guide our youth towards faith-driven resilience and a deepening relationship with Christ, inspired by Colossians 2:6-7.
Emphasizing growth, identity in Christ, and discipleship, we inspire students to impact the church, community, and peers. We hope you can join us!

Our ministry is designed for students, in 7th to 12th grade.
We gather every Wednesday night from 5:30 to 7:30 pm.
Our main line of communication is GroupMe, you can join here! We also regularly update our website and social media with the latest news and events. Additionally, announcements are made during our Wednesday gatherings.
No need! We provide a delicious meal every Wednesday night for all students. We do not offer special diets, but please feel free to bring food if you’re on a restricted diet and please let us know if you have any allergies that may cause complications if certain foods are in your proximity.
Our nights are packed with activities, including dinner, games, worship, teaching, small group breakout sessions, prayer, and relaxed hangout time.
Our regular Wednesday gatherings are free of charge, including the dinner. However, some special events might have associated costs, which will be communicated in advance.
Once a month, we host special events that vary in nature. It could be anything from a themed night to off-site hangouts, to a community outreach activity. Details are usually announced during our regular gatherings and on our communication channels.
We’re thrilled to welcome new members! Simply join us on a Wednesday night, and our team will guide you through the process. You can also reach out to us through the contact details provided on the website.
While we don’t have a strict dress code and want everyone to come as you are and feel comfortable, we believe in honoring God in all we do, including our clothing choices. We kindly ask students to choose attire that reflects respect for themselves, others, and our faith.
Absolutely! We always appreciate the support of adults, no matter if you’re a young adult, senior adult, or a parent/guardian. If you’re interested in volunteering or getting involved in any capacity, please contact us.
